Juliette Harrisson
Out now - Creepy Classics Omnibus!
Three volumes of Creepy Classics are brought together in one volume for the first time!
This omnibus edition brings together Creepy Classics: Ghost Stories from Ancient Greece, Creepy Classics: Ghost Stories from Ancient Rome, and Creepy Classics: Medieval Ghost Stories in one volume. 33 short stories from across 2,500 years of history take you on a journey through underworlds, haunted houses, enchanted woods and even a haunted toilet! Also included are two bonus stories: ‘The Abandoned Mummy,’ re-telling a ghost story from even longer ago in ancient Egypt, and ‘The Shining Men,’ a rather different type of paranormal encounter from ancient Rome.
Praise for Creepy Classics: Ghost Stories from Ancient Rome:
“I love Juliette’s knack for combining bizarre facts and obviously well researched history with a satisfyingly fictional story-telling note.”
— Dora Bona
“Not only does the author retell the stories in a fun way but she gives you all the historical background at the end.”
— Caroline Lawrence, author of best-selling series The Roman Mysteries

About Me
I write ghost stories - no matter what genre I try to write in, somehow I always end up writing a ghost story! I’m a professional historian (Senior Lecturer in History at a small British university) and I have a PhD in Classics. I’ve branched out into writing historical and contemporary fiction sets in lots of different times and places, but I always feel a warm glow any time I come back to my beloved ancient Romans!
